Expansion of new business
In the Medium-Term Management Plan that began in 2020, HighChem stated, "We will take the lead in creating a society that aims to achieve both economic wealth and environmental wealth by increasing the efficiency of carbon utilization to deliver cleaner air and reducing marine plastics to deliver cleaner oceans. To realize this vision, HighChem is working on the "Biodegradable Materials Business" as a new business. We will work to expand new businesses by utilizing the experience we have built up of contributing to the economy and society as a bridge between Japan and China in our trading and C1 chemical businesses.
